What makes me a glow

Growing up on the island of Oahu, I was fascinated by the magic of business. In my imaginary game of 'Shop', I became obsessed with making it better - dreaming up ways to attract customers, create unforgettable experiences, and turn a simple store into something special. I would eagerly gather feedback from friends and family, determined to get the best suggestions.

That passion led me to customer success and business strategy, where I help businesses thrive. Through my recent freelance work, I've guided businesses not just to grow—but to stand out, connect deeply with their audience, and build something meaningful.

Now, I'm eager to bring that same energy, creativity, and strategic thinking to your team. I want to be part of a company transforming how communities and businesses grow. Mock Customer 

Customer: FitWithJane, a fitness influencer with 100K followers.


Goal: Build an engaged community of fitness enthusiasts through her branded Circle app.


Challenge: Low engagement and high churn after the initial app launch.

Action plan:

Core Solution: By leveraging Circle's native gamification features, I designed a unique 'Monthly Champions' program where each month has a different wellness theme with personalized rewards. For example:

February: 'Heart Health Hero Champion'

  • Members track heart rate zones and cardio achievements

  • Top engagers receive personalized cardio training plans or 1:1 consultation 

  • Creates emotional connection through shared fitness milestones

  • Assign everyone a new buddy for the month so community members can get to know each other

Implementation Using Circle Features:

 

Engagement Structure

  • Use Circle's Space feature to create themed monthly challenge hubs

  • Set up automated welcome flows for new challenge participants

  • Create exclusive spaces for past champions to maintain status value​, talk about future challenge suggestions so they have a sense of contribution.

Recognition System

  • Monthly champion title with custom badge (Heart Health Hero)

  • Featured member spotlight (also shown on socials to get more community members)

  • Access to exclusive champion-only spaces

  • Personalized reward based on theme (e.g., custom cardio program)

This solution works because it:

  • Creates anticipation with rotating themes

  • Offers meaningful, personalized rewards

  • Builds emotional investment through personal achievements

  • Builds community through rotating buddy system

  • Maintains engagement through daily point opportunities

  • Leverages Circle's existing features effectively"
